Your First Christmas

Merry Christmas Ava,
As for all holidays, we always split the day in half. First we open presents bright and early at our own home and then head over to Grandpa and Grandma's house. We will then spend the morning with them, open presents and have our Christms dinner with them around 2pm and then move on to Tha and Yai's house to open more presents and have a second Christmas dinner there. The thought of having to alternate Holidays every year between grand parents is not something that your Daddy or I could ever imagine. We both greatly appreciate and love our parents so much so that we feel that being able to see both of them every Christmas is far better than only spending it with them every other year. It does get a little hectic trying to get from our house to another house and then on to another. But for us, the benefit far exceeds the trouble. The idea of have everyone over at our house is something I think about often but Mommy is not such a great cook. Hopefully this is not a trait that you will inherit. I suppose in the years to come, I will have to over come my fear of cooking and cook a Christmas dinner that no one will forget. (Hopefully because its delicious.) But for now, our tradition seems to work.
Merry First Christmas!!
xoxo
