Mommy and Daddy try to deter you from talking about inappropriate things by telling you that there is a place and a time to discuss certain things. Things like poop. Ladies don't talk about poop outside of the bathroom and it's considered "Bathroom Talk". So today, we were in the bathroom beginning our bedtime routine when we had the following conversation:
Ava: "Mommy, we are in the bathroom right?"
Mommy: "Yes Ava, that is correct"
Ava: "Mommy, poop is bathroom talk right?"
Mommy: "Yes Ava, that is correct"
Ava: "OK Mommy, lets talk about poop"
Mommy: dying hysterically at this point, "What do you want to talk about?"
Ava: "What color is my poop?"
No need to go into the details, but the fact that you set up your question that way makes me adore you so much. I love the way your little brain works. LOVE IT!!!
